THE COMPANY

Pala beekeeping was officially born in 2005, even if, in reality, bees have been an uninterrupted part of our family since the early thirties, when my maternal grandfather (Antonio Bandinu), a Barbagian shepherd away in the greenest Gallura, was given a few swarms in the typical beehive of the time (Bugno in cork).

Since then, initially my grandfather and then my mother Tomasina and then my uncle Giovanni took care of the family’s beekeeping heritage which grew to have a hundred beehives.

In the spring of 2000 it’s my turn… I too come into contact with bees and it was love at first sight! So much so that despite the ups and downs of the first half we never left each other. This is also thanks to my teacher at the time Tomaso Desole with whom I had the honor of collaborating for five unforgettable years.

In the meantime, a prestigious position arrives in an oil company but at the same time the official birth of Pala beekeeping. A prestigious location abandoned in 2018 for the love of bees. Since then bees and beekeeping have been a full-time part of my life.
